Soraja Trigo is a Swiss actress, producer, and writer with Italian and Portuguese roots. Due to her diverse background, Soraja speaks several languages fluently, including Swiss-German, German, Italian, English, as well as some Portuguese, Spanish, and French. Her journey in the performing arts began in her youth, starting with theater and dance performances. Early on, she decided to pursue a professional career in the industry and studied acting at the prestigious Susan Batson Studio in New York and the Stage Academy of Switzerland. In 2013, Soraja landed her first movie role in the internationally award-winning Swiss feature Dreamland, directed by Petra Volpe. Her dedication to the craft opened doors to more opportunities, such as playing Maria in the 3Plus production Bernegger & Juric – Die Kommissare, alongside Gilles Tschudi, or Malea in the SRF series Te Berberi – Wächst ja wieder, next to Vedat Bajrami. She has also taken on lead or supporting roles in other well-known movies and series such as Rewind, Der Polder, and Zurich 8001. Notably, her short film Pick Me received several awards at international film festivals worldwide.
Additionally, from 2024 to 2025, she portrayed Cobrea, the evil stepsister, in the play Cinderella, and the princess in the play Puss in Boots, both directed by Fabio Romano. Exploring beyond acting, Soraja ventured into film production at the end of 2023, producing her first short film LOSS and upcoming projects such as Ali & Cali and more to come.
