I am a thamil woman, born in Canada, grew up in Langnau im Emmental and live in Zurich, in a cozy place at the edge of the woods. My mind is multi-cultural, my tongue can be swiss, english or thamil though my roots distinctively are shaiva. I do not care about borders nor shapes but I want to express who I am because I feel it in my veins. Love and authenticity is my way.
My background in dance is bharathanatyam. I have participated in numerous competitions and performances since I am 6 years old. Hiphop, contemporary, tango argentino, flamenco and ballet influence my style. I had the chance to produce my own dance piece with live music, which was funded by Basel-Stadt.
Dance is where I get lost and find myself again.
I took carnatic singing lessons for around ten years. Later on I got into other styles like jazz and pop. I find it fascinating to work with our voices to unleash our potential.
I love expressing myself in different ways and discovering all the layers.
